As you can imagine one of my passions in life has been music. Primarily Gospel music and hymns but some genres of secular music are also enjoyed. I have had the privilege of participating in many musical opportunities from solo work to groups of all kinds both here and far away.

There is one thing that stands out when you are involved in music and that’s “Harmony”. Working together to make sure the sound is exactly as it was written. If one part or group is off key the entire musical arrangement is messed up.

Harmony is also an important factor in many other facets of life.

We can see more than ever the results of disharmony at every level of society. From the overall lack of harmony among countries, to the breaking up of families. Disharmony is one of the most destructive situations we see at every level in the world today.

My devotion is going to hone in on verses of scripture that I think indicate how God wants us to be harmonious in ALL of our relationships. All NKJV

I don’t think it could be any clearer if we truly believe what the word of God tells us.

Our strength as Christians is more than just an individual. It is the strength of many believers working in harmony with one another.

Since we are all humans and we can fail so easily “Forgiveness is so very important in our Christian and secular lives”

The Day is approaching. We see it all around us. We read it in our scripture reading. Our “Harmony” as Christians is more important than ever.

This verse speaks for itself and requires no additional comment.

AND FINALLY

Here we have the foundation of a solid Christian life. Whether living among Christians or society as a whole.

Harmony is so important in all matters of life but should be a top priority in our Christian lives and behavior.

Our Christianity is to be a beacon in a dark world and harmony is one area the world fails miserably.

Let our Christian light show through the harmony we portray.

Praise the Lord for his gift of love and harmony within Christian Circles, and without.
