The last few weeks have found our assembly facing the loss of a number of chapel family members.
While we are convinced that these folks have gone to be with our Saviour and Lord, we were reminded recently that
there remains a “heart hurt” as we miss the physical presence of these folks.

While time on earth is one of joy and laughter mixed with sorrow and trouble, our faith gives us the assurance that we, and they, are going to a place of eternal life and joy.
Let’s make sure our future is secure in the Lord and our time on earth is spent serving our God and Savior. With a secure hope in our hearts.
Another of those great gospel hymns that spell out our faith.
My Hope is Built on Nothing Less
1) My hope is built on nothing less,
Than Jesus' Blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus' name
Chorus
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
2) When darkness veils His lovely face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
3) His oath, His covenant, His blood
Supports me in the 'whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way
He then is all my hope and stay.
4)When He shall come with trumpet sound
Oh may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
Faultless to stand before the throne.
That’s my devotion for this week. Please ponder the shortness of life and the valuation that should be placed on what matters.
Salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
