There was a scripture brought to my attention the other day that spoke volumes to me. I hope its message speaks to you as well.

Whatever you find in this verse is up to you but it’s a verse where Paul is talking to the Philippians but I believe we can apply it to ourselves as Christians in the 21st century.
As I read this verse there are two things that spoke to me.
First “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.”
We are a living example of a witness for Christ.
That can be difficult, can’t it? How we respond to criticism, or offence or frustration.
Human nature jumps to the forefront and we can slip into a state that does not portray a picture of Christ.
Have you ever lashed out at someone who offended you? I have and regretted it the moment it happened.
Has the traffic situation when you’re out and about frustrated you to the point of muttering to yourself things we shouldn’t even think.
Has advice been taken as criticism instead of advice? Boy does that ever feel like a personal situation.
We all fail, when it comes to reactions to situations or events.
Forgiveness is the key when we slip and fall.
The other part of the verse tells us to “stand firm in the one Spirit, striving TOGETHER as one for the faith of the gospel.”
This brings us back to the issue of ‘Harmony’ and cooperation and working together for the winning of souls.
Our Strength comes from God, not from man. Let us strive to Please God and not man!
Working diligently at all times to be God’s ambassadors here as long as we live.
Praise the Lord for his Goodness to all.
