Back from our journey of 4,115 km, 366 litres of fuel, and three provinces.
We visited more than 15 family members, including David and Barbara; a number of friends, including Joan and Matt T. in Medicine Hat; and met and made some new friends along the way.
All in all, a very good and pleasant trip.
BUT, as always, it’s good to be home and sleep in our own bed.
Deuteronomy 31:8 speaks about God going before the Israelites. In our case, this verse very much applied to our trip.
“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
Deuteronomy 31:8
As folks of a certain age, a trip like this creates some consternation. However, with prayer and thanksgiving, we are home safe and sound, with nothing but some very minor glitches along the way. Typical, if anything.
