My devotion today is going to be primarily verses of scripture for you to ponder.
1 Peter 2: 9 – 10
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
1 Peter 2: 18
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
How blessed we are:
a chosen generation
a royal priesthood
a holy nation
a special people
What more can we ask for than to be God’s people.
Therefore our responsibilities are to gird up our minds, be sober and place all our Hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Nothing more for me to say except God’s Holy Word says it all.
