Scripture

1 Thessalonians 5: 23 – 28

  1. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  2. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
  3. Brethren, pray for us.
  4. Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.
  5. I charge you by the lord that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren.
  6. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Now I know we probably won’t be greeting each other with kisses or maybe not even hugs but our greetings should be full of love and caring for one another. As we meet we need to be of one mind and body fulfilling the word of God in word and deed. Our group has been going through some difficult times these days but have remained faithful to God’s teaching. Let us continue to do so and look forward to the day of fulfillment in God’s grace and mercy. I for one have been so encouraged by the care and consideration of each of you for one another. May God’s blessings continue to rest upon you all.
